TAMPA, Fla. (970 WFLA) – A health advisory has been issued for Davis Island Beach after samples Monday show the water measures above the threshold for bacteria.
Officials say this should be considered a potential risk to the bathing public.
When re-sampling indicates that the water is within the satisfactory range, the advisory will be lifted. The beach will be re-sampled Monday, Aug. 18.
