(NEWSER– One man is dead and another in custody following a shooting at Purdue University. The schoolannounced the shooting just after noon today, sending a text to students urging them to shelter in place, RTV 6reports. That order was lifted shortly after 1:15pm, after police cleared the school's electrical engineering building, where the shooting reportedly took place. Two students told the Journal & Courier that they heard two shots ring out, and saw someone who might have had blood on his hands. Police haven't identified the suspect or the victim, but at a news conference they said that they don't believe it was a random shooting, Fox 59 reports.
