Trump's Pick to Replace Flynn Turns Down the Gig

Retired Vice Admiral Robert Harward is turning down President Trump's offer to become National Security Adviser.  The 60-year-old former Navy SEAL was asked to replace Michael Flynn

Harward released a statement citing family and financial issues that would have hindered his ability to commit to the job. However, sources say Harward was reportedly concerned about not being able to establish his own team within the National Security Council.

Flynn was forced to resign for misleading Vice President Pence about his conversations with the Russian ambassador.  Flynn reportedly spoke about lifting sanctions against Russia, but told Pence the subject didn't come up.
