White House Quickly Denies National Guard Immigrant Report

The White House is adamantly denying a report that the Trump administration is considering deployment of tens of thousands of National Guard troops to round up illegal immigrants.  Shortly after the report surfaced, White House spokesman Michael C. Short tweeted, "Not true."

Press Secretary Sean Spicer subsequently tweeted that the report is "100 percent false."

President Trump has long-vowed to go after those who are in the U.S. illegally, along with criminal immigrants and those who pose a security threat.
