There are so many things to do and see in the beautiful Tampa Bay area and not all of them you have to pay for! Here are 3 FREE Things to do in Tampa! Although their may be more, these are a few of our favorite.
1.) Circle B Bar Reserve
Circle B Bar Reserve is a huge reserve in Lakeland, FL along Lake Hancock that's home to a LOT of wildlife. From alligators to otters to hundreds of different bird species including owls and eagles.
There is over 1,200 different acres to choose from and regardless of what path you choose whether 'Alligator Alley' or 'Eagle's Nest' you are SURE to see some wildlife.Admission is completely free and parking doesn't cost a dime either. Just park your car, pick a path, and stop exploring. This is any nature photographer's dream come true!
2.) Tampa Bay Water Ski Show Team
Now, this is something that not a lot of people in the Tampa Bay area don't know about but definitely should. Tampa Bay is home to an incredible award-winning Water Ski show team containing several professional water ski show performers from all across the globe. These shows will leave you truly breathless with the stunts that they perform. Currently, they are traveling all around the Tampa Bay area doing shows.
And yes, THEY ARE ALL FREE. I highly recommend checking out their shows, they are always themed and super fun!
They are thoroughly entertaining and definitely a good family activity!
3.) Sparkman Wharf
If you haven't already visited Sparkman Wharf, it's time to go! If you are familiar with the Channelside area of Hooter, it has been completely renovated and now home to the beautiful Sparkman Wharf.
Most people thing this is basically just a food hall. but it's so much more than that! It's the perfect spot to just hang out and chill with your friends, family, or furry pal! Yes, there is of course delicious food to chose from as well, but there are also other activities such as live music and games on the lawn!
This also sits right along the channel where the cruise ships arrive and depart, so that's a really cool thing to sit and watch as well! There's even a beautiful Bier Garten to sit at and have a few cocktails.
Sparkman Wharf is very family friends, so bring the whole family out and come hang out!
