Pinellas Starts Early Voting For Primary Saturday

CLEARWATER -- Many Florida counties have already started early voting... all remaining counties are required to open Saturday. That includes Pinellas, where deputy election supervisor Dustin Chase says voters should expect lines at the county's three early voting locations because of social distancing required to avoid spreading COVID-19.

Chase says voters should wear masks... but they're not required because voting is a constitutional right. They'll have masks at the polls for those who need one.

Pinellas encourages mail voting over early voting and has signed up 75,000 new absentee voters for the primary.
