TAMPA -- COVID forced the funeral service for Tedd Webb to be small and private, but his thousands of friends and listeners will be able to experience it virtually.
His son, Lee Ruiz, announced on Tedd's Facebook page that a video stream of the service will be available. We have the link at the bottom of this article.
The service starts at noon April 6th and streaming will begin at 11:30 a.m. After the service concludes, it will be available for viewing at the link below for 90 days. Following the service, there will be a private burial.
Ruiz is working with our own Aaron Jacobson and others to put together a public celebration of Webb's life at an appropriate time.
Longtime WFLA morning co-host and Tampa radio legend Tedd Webb passed away last Tuesday (March 30th) after deciding not to continue with dialysis. He fought through complications of diabetes and other health issues for many of his later years on AM Tampa Bay.
