Police used stun devices on two protesters at a town hall event held by Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene in Acworth, Georgia, on Tuesday (April 15). The event was marked by disruptions, leading to the arrest of several attendees. Police removed several audience members, including Johnny Keith Williams and Andrew Russell Nelms, who were arrested on suspicion of simple battery and obstruction. Kiyana Davis was also arrested for using vulgar language.

The town hall, intended for constituents to engage with Greene, was disrupted shortly after it began. Greene warned attendees against protesting, stating, "This is a town hall; this is not a political rally. This is not a protest."

Despite this, disruptions continued, prompting police intervention. Officers reportedly faced resistance while removing the protesters, leading to the use of stun devices.

Greene addressed questions from constituents, including criticisms of Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency and President Donald Trump's tariffs. She expressed her support for President Trump, stating, "I am going to stand by my president. I’m going to support my president, and I’m going to fight for his agenda."

Outside the venue, additional protesters exercised their First Amendment rights in a designated area provided by the Acworth Police Department. Despite the disruptions, Greene noted the support she received from many attendees, who cheered as the protesters were removed.
